@DavidHalko That isn't the case, just try a car from the 80's or 90's and you'll know what I mean.
But the legacy industry have tried almost everything to stop EV cars coming to market, that in the end, it needed new companies to shake things up and force them to get onboard, which some are slowly doing.
The irony is, the longer they take to get onboard, the more they are handing the car industry over to the EV industry, but this is nothing new, old usually always tries to stop new, which usually fails is the new is better, it also usually means some of the old going bankrupt, whiles some new players take their place.
I understand why the legacy auto industry tries to hold things back, but in the end, they are just harming their own interest, the more they try to fight it, the more likely the new replaces them, they really should just accept it, get onboard and push forward, unless they really want to be downsized or worse, bankruptcy.
