All the options the UK offerd are crazy, the UK is more or less trying to have all the benefits of EU membership without any of the cost, that would be like me being able to use the gym equipment for free and them accepting that because thats more or less what the UK is asking for lol and you wonder why the EU keeps saying no, beside, the EU have already said the UK can have a Canada style deal but that is nowhere near as good as what the EU offers by being in it and that is the real problem the UK have.

Anyway, so far the EU have been consistant in these talks, have not used any threats and have layed down all the options on the table, the UK on the other hand keeps using threats because it's not getting it's cake it wants, sooner or later the penny is going to drop for people like you that we only have about 4 options on the table, pick one then leave but stop complaining that the EU isn't giving you what you want, people like you keep saying the UK should just leave then do that, it will hurt the UK far more then it will the EU and likely will speed up the process of the UK rejoining the EU. You really don't have a clue do you?, the leave side promised the earth with Brexit and now they don't want to deliver on all thoes promises because they ware lies, all the remain side is doing is holding the leave side to account on all that, thats what you really don't like :)

I'm talking about what the UK wants when out of the EU not what we get when in the EU, in any case, what is it with people like you who seem to think the EU needs to solve the issue for the UK?, it's the UK thats leaving and it's a UK problem to solve, it all reeks of the UK trying to blame the EU if things go wrong, the thing is, the EU are not going to care if the UK blames them once we are out. In any case, so far we've not come up with a Brexit plan that works, even the one that the goverment came up with yesterday have a bit of cake in it and cheer picking because it was a custom plan with goods and not services, when is the penny going to drop in the UK that we have 3 or 4 options that the EU have already layed out, pick one and stop complaining, for a country that wants to leave the EU, they are trying hard to stay in lol.

Terry, you are an idiot lol, so far everything the UK goverment have come up with is cake and eat it this, cheer pick that and you expect the EU to give us that? lol, come up with a decent plan and the EU will likely accept, until then, get a grip you idiot.

It likely will with big industry if the UK doesn't get a good trade deal with the EU because a lot of trade and parts criss cross across the boader and considering that in a lot of cases, the EU is the main selling market to them, it makes a lot more sense to up sticks and leave the UK and relocate to an EU countries so they can sell internally whiles also being able to sell to the UK from the EU and just passing on the cost to UK consumers. It's all about the numbers and the EU have a lot more of them then the UK does, it also means that other investments that are planning to sell throughout the EU are likely to avoide the UK because it doesn't make much sense to invest in the UK now when setting up a base of operations to sell into the EU, setting up shop in an EU countries makes a lot more sense for them now unless the UK have a really great deal but even then many of them will still likely invest more in an EU country then the UK.

It's not how the EU works, it's very diplomatic in how it does things in that it will give the UK every chance of coming up with some plan, if this was the US with Trump, he likely would've told the UK where to go by now. In any case, it doesn't matter because the EU knows they are holding all the cards in these talks and knows that time isn't on the UK side, the EU will just wait till the clock ticks down because that seems to be making the UK goverment more desprate. Another thing, this doesn't bold well for the UK and thoes trade deals the UK wants with the rest of the world, the world is looking at the UK and must be thinking, how can they do a deal with them when they keep backtracking on a lot of what they say and keep demanding terms that suite themselfs, the UK is going to realise that trade deals around the world are not as easy as they like to think and that many other nations will play hard ball with the UK as well.

Not always, it depends on what they are typing on, I've seen people that type so fast on here and do so many spelling mistakes without realising that unless they re-read the post they posted, I've done that a few times, so much so that I've done a post on here once or twice where I'm not even that sure what I said myself, it was that bad lol, in most cases it's not that big of a deal with the odd spelling mistakes as long as others can understand whats being said.

Thats just stupid and short sighted, think about it if the US didn't get involed, it likely was only a matter of time before the Nazis took over the UK and would put there full attention on Russia after that, the odds of them taking over Russia would of gone up a lot because the Nazis had 40% of it's army on the western front, if the Nazis took over Russia, who do you think they would go after next, I suspect the US would've been a prime target back home, in some ways, you should thank the Japanese for waking the US goverment up before it was too late because things could've been a lot worse.

The sanest deal would be to stay in the EU but that might not be an option now because I suspect the price the EU and it's members will ask for letting us stay might be too high, so a lost of many op-outs, the second best deal might be single market and custom union access, that limits the damage being done but it more or less makes the UK a vassal of the EU, all the other deals will do quite a lot of damage to the UK one way or the other. It's clear the goverment didn't think this one through before signing Article 50 and because of that, we are likely going to pay the price whatever happens.

Nauxsi, the thing is, they never had any plan, to me Brexit was a big bluff where they ware betting on the EU backing down on giving the UK more op-outs on freedom of movment but the EU was never going to bend on it's four freedoms and this is why the UK have some big problems now because they never really planed to leave the EU, they intended to stay or at least stay very close so had no reason to plan for anything, now that the EU isn't giving us any cake, real panic is setting in. I think when all is said and done, the UK is going to stay in the single market and custom union as that limits the damage to the UK, we might have another vote and the British people might vote to stay in, but the EU will likely ask a high price for letting us to stay and that could be us losing some or all our op-outs, I highly doubt the EU will let the UK stay in the EU as if nothing happened, thier will be a price to pay for the mess we created otherwise others could do the same thing with no risk.
