Basically, the Brexiteers thought they were being smart in trying to get one over the EU ended up getting one over themselves, the Tories don't care about the Brexiteers, they only care about what they can get out of them and having many useful idiots is handy to push one's agenda. Truth is, the Brexiteers have been had but good luck getting them to admit that because no one wants to admit they've been taken for a fool, at least not early on. The thing is, you have to wonder how bad things have to get in the UK before they wake up to what the Tories are doing and I have a feeling that wake-up call will be with Scotland and Northern Ireland leaving the UK union which by then it will be too late for the Brexiteers as the real damage is done. Putin played a blinder on the UK with Brexit and that is likely his biggest success.
