People like you have said that for the last 30 years and it's still here, wanting something to happen doesn't make it so, in fact, the likes of Brexit, Trump and Putin is making the case on why the EU is a lot more needed to Europeans, even to us Brits it's sending that message out.
Beside, you should be more worried about the UK union, the way things are going, thier is a real risk that the UK could brake apart if Brexit goes badly wrong, hard Brexit will incressse the odds of Scotland and Northern Ireland leaving the UK union, maybe you don't realise this but Scotland have been fighting for inderpendence for decades, Brexit just gives them another reason to fight on.
In any case, how is the UK going to thrive after Brexit, you and the leavers have had two years to show us that and yet you've come up with nothing, shows us the evidence that the UK will be better off out of the EU because so far you are all hot air dreaming of fairies and unicorns that have no basis in facts.

Is that guy for real lol, the EU have already said the UK can have a Canada style free trade deal but the UK keeps kicking up a fuss because they know that a Canada style deal is far worse then single market and custom union access, the UK goverment keeps trying to cheer pick a deal with the EU so it's no supprise the EU keeps saying no, the UK more or less wants all the same benefits of EU membership without any of the cost and that guy wonders why the EU keeps saying no every time, what a clown lol.
At the end of the day, the UK needs to come up with a realistic plan that doesn't invole cake to eat or cheer picking, the EU have already offerd a few deals, now it's up to the UK to pick one or walk away, at this rate, it's the EU thats going to have it's cake to eat if the UK is not careful, either way, which ever deal the UK picks, it's going to be worse then we already had and the UK had a really good deal in the EU with all the opt-outs and now we've lost all that.
Now it doesn't matter which Brexit we pick, it's all worse then what we had, all we can do is limit the damage of Brexit and that seems to be single market and custom union because that solve most of the problems, so unless the hardliners can come up with a plan thats better without hurting the UK then that should really be the best option to pick.
