I remember just about a year ago playing games on my friends Amiga 500 computer, he had a lot of games, many original and many copies, he's had that Amiga since around 91 and what we noticed is that all the original disk worked without any problems even after 30 years whereas about half the copied disk worked, the rest failed. I suspect the original disk were higher quality whiles the copied ones were cheaper disk, still I was surprised how well the original disk lasted, especially considering that I've seen original CD's fail in a shorter space of time.
