Materazi Islam That's what makes it impressive, how many teams can go from not qualifying for the last world cup to winning the Euros? As for the route, England had an easy route in two major tournaments and still lost, in this case, most of their games were at home so that makes it even worse. Italy beat Switzerland which on paper might not mean much but Switzerland knocked France out and almost beat Spain, then Italy beat Belgium, Spain and England to a hostile crowd, now that's a tough route. As for cheating, how about England against Denmark and that penalty? at the end of the day, most will agree that Italy was the best team throughout the tournament and that England had a lucky run to the final and in the end, nobody remembers losers so who cares.

@anthonymares5079 Yep it was in the bag according to England fans and it was like in the water that they thought they couldn't lose, they felt the same in the last world cup and look how that turned out lol, in the end in both tournaments, they had an easy route and the moment they played a good team, they got knocked out. So getting to the final doesn't mean much with that kind of luck on their side which is likely going to come to an end for the next world cup with all the bad PR England got here, in other words, UEFA and FIFA would have to be brave to give England any favours for awhile lol.

@davidepozzi460 England might win a major tournament on it's 100 years anniversary, so just another 45 years to go lol. But honestly, I don't think England will win anything until they admit to themselves that they are a second tier team, too many in England think England is a top tier team like Italy, Germany, Brazil and the likes but clearly England's record says otherwise, those other teams might not always win but they usually get close.

Materazi Islam I think you was watching the wrong game, it looked like England was playing for penalties, after all, most of the game they played quite defensively whiles Italy was more attacking. The rest of what you are saying is just delusion, I encourage you to keep doing that as people don't learn from that lol.

Materazi Islam Yep, Beckham was feeding Tom some bad advice in making it seem England were better than they were, at least Southgate was more realistic after that first goal, hence why he didn't jump around like a loon like he normally does, he knew Italy would likely get back in the game which they did. Anyway, at least Tom now knows Beckham is full of it, after all, I can imagine it now, Beckham told him the cup was won even before kick off lol, the delusion in this tournament were really high in England and it reminds me of Brexit all over again lol.
