  1. Wind turbines are so hit or miss on if they work or not or if they are a scam, it's also hit or miss when it comes to the rated power and what power you'll actually get. For these test to be more useful, real world numbers are needed on the average power being generated, the wind speeds over that time and how high the turbine is or if there were any obstacles in the way. Without this kind of information, these videos don't really tell us much. I also find with these smaller turbines, they don't work that well in urban areas, which makes solar a much better choice unless there are wind turbines that can work well in urban areas without having to be really high.
