  1. Hungary needs to make its mind up, in or out of the EU, but complaining about EU rules when they agreed to them when signing up to join the EU is making the Orbán government look stupid. It's not hard to see the game that Orbán is playing, he knows outside of the EU, nobody would take the country serious, but he also knows that being in the EU gives the government a lot more power thanks to the veto. That would be fine if they used it reasonably, but clearly Orbán is abusing it and it's clear that there's a majority from Europeans for the policies he's trying to black, and normally I wouldn't be in favour of blocking a member voting rights but this has been going on too long now with Hungary that I think blocking their voting rights is needed, and if things don't change after that from Hungary, I think the process of kicking Hungary out of the EU should be seriously looked into, which should be easier to achieve if Hungary have lost their voting rights. As for blame, I blame the EU Commission, they've been way too soft on Hungary and Orbán is taking advantage of that, this is also another reason why more powers should be shifted towards the European Parliament, it's directly elected by the people and at least they want to get a lot tougher on Hungary, the Commission is being seen as weak, and that alone is why reforms are needed.
