Not sure what Morrisons was thinking as there was no need to mention the EU on the package if it was made in the UK, they simply could have said made in the UK or something like that, mentioning it's not got EU in it sounds like an anti EU stance which is strange considering that half the UK population is against Brexit. Businesses should be careful to not mix politics with business as it can backfire and they can lose customers, especially when half the UK population doesn't like this and many of them likely saw this as an anti EU stance.
