It seems highly unlikely that Russia could attack Poland, after all, Poland is much richer than Ukraine but more importantly, they are in the EU and NATO, both organizations would be compelled to respond to an invasion with a lot more force than we are seeing with Ukraine, Putin very likely knows that, hence why he's targeting vulnerable countries like Ukraine and Moldova but taking on an EU or NATO country, if the EU or NATO didn't get involved in a much tougher way, many will question the point of the EU and NATO and it could unravel, so basically, it would be all out way if Russia did attack an EU or NATO country and with that said, the best thing for protection to those none EU and NATO countries in the east is to join the EU and NATO as quickly as possible to get away from Russian aggression.
