The real question, would China and India want to buy too much from Russia with Putin using oil and gas as a political weapon? Who is to say Putin wouldn't use that against China or India if they don't do their bidding?
This is the problem Putin faces, you break trust and no one is going to want to be too dependent on Russia, and is other problem, there are no other rich customers around the world to buy that oil and gas, so even thought China and India might buy more, they will pay dirt cheap prices, that is costly for Russia longer term unless they can get the rich countries back onboard and that's highly unlikely as long as Putin is in charge of Russia and even if Putin leaves, I highly doubt the EU will buy much from Russia after this, the EU countries are very likely going to go full steam ahead on renewable energy for security reasons.
Basically, there isn't much Russia can do, the damage is done and it's long term damage.
