From what I've heard, the west needed a bit of time before they can supple arms to Ukraine on a constant basis without depleting their own stockpile, someone high up in the US military, forgot his name, anyway, he said it should be around November this year, if what he said is true, things could get a lot more painful for Russia late this year because for now, Ukraine have only been getting the crumbs from the west.
