This is why more Americans need a passport lol, I mean we are talking basic global things here which should be common knowledge to know and it's remarkable how so many people don't know these things, more so in the US which they seem to know very little of what is going on around the world. Now I'm not saying that Americans are stupid because that isn't really the case but the knowledge they have of the outside world is piss poor and as a European, I probably know more about the US then what many Americans know and this is just common knowledge .

  2.  @chunkersnut  To be fair, the Commission for the most part can only prepose laws but they still have to be approve by the European Parliament.
