Not only is football very accessible regardless of where you are in the world or the wealth of the country, but it's also accessible for the individual person, if you're short or tall, fast or slow, you can still make it and be a good player, in many American sports like American football, you usually have to be big and musclier, or basketball where being tall is a big advantage. Now I'm not saying that extra speed doesn't help with football or being taller doesn't help, it does, but there are a lot more other factors that plays their part in being a good play, skills, positioning, level-headed and so on and why we've had players over the years of all backgrounds become really good players, so easy to access and anyone can take part, that's a major advantage for the sport over many American sports.

Yeah the score isn't really a factor when it comes to having a fun or dull game, you can have a 0-0 game and a lot of exciting things happen in the game, and yes I know many goals can help to make the game more exciting, especially if it's one of those games where one team or the other has to score to stay in the competition, but there's a lot more to the fun factor when it comes to this sport that the only American sport that I think can come close to it is basketball, but none of the other sports appeal that much around the world and basketball has it's own flaws that football doesn't.
