We should remember that in a lot of cases, the quality of food is higher in the EU compared to the US because of regulations, and I find that remarkable because I always thought the US processes a lot of it's food to make it cheaper but clearly, companies are either profiting the difference or it's not cheaper to produce, either way, it's remarkable how the quality of the food and it's cheaper to buy in most cases in the EU compared to the US, more so when you take into account the energy cost difference which usually is added to the cost of everything.

@betaich Someone did a video of Aldi prices in the US and Germany on youtube a few months back and the price point on most goods were cheaper in Germany, more or less to the degree we saw on this video where some items are much cheaper, others a little cheaper and others about the same, it was rare for items to be more expensive in Germany.
