At the end of the day, life is too short, we spend so much of it sleeping on average 8 hours per day and then spending around 8 hours for 5 days a week at work, when you put it all together, a big chunk of your life is being used up by being asleep and at work lol.
When it comes to money, I'm sure we would like more but once you get to a certain level that's comfortable, quality of life starts to matter far more than working longer hours to earn more money.
In the end, you only live once, best make the most of it and money can only bring you so much happiness, overall, experiences is what brings you far more happiness than money does, as long as you've got a reasonable amount of money to live comfortable, and I think Europeans, especially in the EU have a far better balance when it comes to quality of life and work balance then Americans have, which almost looks like a slave system the way the system is set up with dependency on work for basic things like health care and you only have to look at the quality of life indexes, Europe dominants it, there's far more to life then money, at least if you've got a good balance from the two.
