@Donut-d3t I find any country that gets too close to the US that seems to lower standards in many areas, the UK is a prime example of that which have lower standards in many areas compared to other European countries and as we know, the UK likes to lick the boot of the US. Being too close to the US usually means the US having a lot more influence on the given country, and usually in a negative way, Canada later seem to be waking up to that reality but we'll see how that goes over the coming years, the UK seems to be going downhill, as for Australia, well I'm not sure about them.
