@KyussTheWalkingWorm Like Tobias said, all those ray tracing games are likely optimized for Nvidia hardware as that was the only option until these new AMD gpu's got released, so the performance gap is likely going to become smaller, throw in that games target consoles and that's a lot more like these new AMD gpu's than Nvidia hardware as well as the drivers not being mature yet, I suspect performance is only going to get better in time. Another thing to remember is that ray tracing was poor on Nvidia hardware early on but with driver updates and software optimization, it got a lot better, if that happens on AMD hardware, the gap could close a lot but with that said, I doubt these cards will beat Nvidia's new cards in ray tracing performance but then it doesn't really have too.

Nvidia got massive performance uplift on the 20 series of cards from release to now so it's possible, especially as ray tracing is new for AMD cards so drivers are likely not mature yet and games are not optimized for it, performance is likely only going to get better but we'll get a better idea of that over the next 6 to 12 months, maybe sooner.

@nickeshchauhan5661 It depends, I feel that the 30 series of cards is more or less the 20 series with power usage unlocked and a few other changes, if that's the case, the drivers are likely already mature on Nvidia hardware so the gains could be quite small, AMD on the other hand has done a big architecture change with a lot of new features, a bit like Nvidia did with the 20 series of cards and look how much better ray tracing performance is on the 20 series now compared to when those cards were released. It's too early to tell for now but it wouldn't surprise me if AMD hardware gets some big gains in performance once drivers get more mature and games are better optimized for them which is bound to happen thanks to the new consoles and if AMD gets the kind of gains Nvidia did on the 20 series, it looks quite promising for AMD's new cards. The only thing I want to know is how good AMD's alternative DLSS is and when is it out, we know little to nothing about it yet.
