  1. Technical you can do that on the PC with suspend or hibernation but that does the entire system and not just the game. I don't see any reason why Microsoft couldn't do it on the PC but they likely would have to work with the store fronts like Steam but that brings up another question, couldn't Valve themselves not do it with Steam on Windows? unless I'm missing something, I don't see any reason why not.

  3.  @ldskjfhslkjdhflkjdhf  Thats true but the idea behind it could be used for games and I also have to wonder if this needs to be implemented at an OS level because I suspect there are ways this could be done by other means.

  4. I have to say that this could be quite tempting for the price, being able to run PC games on the desktop and on the go seems quite appealing to me over the Nintendo Switch. Throw in the emulation aspect of this and that makes it even more appealing and I have to wonder, would this be powerful enough to emulate the Nintendo Switch, if it does that quite well, that would make this a killer device over the Nintendo Switch considering the price point. Anyway, the key here on why this could work is the price point, every time others have tried to compete with consoles or handheld devices, the price is crazy high and that kills it right there, here, Valve have done it at a reasonable price point and that gives it a much greater chance of success.
