@benbuckley2540 The real question is, how many of thoes 17.4 million people voted with no deal in mind, I suspect far less then 17.4 million considering Brexit was sold on the idea of having a good deal with the EU. In truth, we only really have two options now, remain in the EU by another public vote or May's deal as no deal was never on the table and was only used as a threat to try and get the EU to bend, they didn't so that is already out.

A snap election is kind of pointless, does it really solve anything?, I suspect the EU will say we're still back at square one even if the Conservatives win and put someone new in charge and even if Labour wins, things are not that much better, so really, another public vote is the only real option now but lets see how long our goverment and parliement will dance in a circle before that message sinks in. A snap election might of worked if Corbyn was a lot more clear on Brexit and more so if he pushed more for another public vote and to remain but as it is, it's hard to trust him so I doubt anything will change with another election whoever gets into power.

@seraphina985 Thats how I see it, anothe election isn't going to solve anything because Labour is just as stuck on Brexit like the Tories are and Corbyn doesn't help matters by staying on the fence all this time. If I was the EU, I wouldn't give the UK any extra time if another election in the UK is the only solution because it will likely mean just wasting a lot more time and likely getting nowhere, the EU should force the EU on either the UK having another vote or the UK leaving, either with May's deal or hard Brexit.

Forget the goverment, they are not the key, the high numbers with that petitions is very likely to make a lot more MP's in parliement to become a lot more bolding in how they vote and it also shows how much support around the country there is to be heard. In other words, this is making it much easier for parliement to take control away from the goverment and they likely will if the goverment isn't careful here. It's easy to say they can ignore thoes numbers but being almost 6 million on the petitions and a million protest, the goverment is either stupid or very brave to ignore all that and we'll soon find out which one it is.
