Macrons intentions is to get the UK out of the EU and he wants it done sooner rather then later so he and the rest of the EU can get on with reforming the EU, many in the EU on the other hand are setting things up to make sure it's very hard for Brits to be able to blame the EU for however Brexit goes, they are playing this smart and it's tightning the nose around the Brexiteers necks.

Thats the smart thing about this, this is finally giving the British public a voice, what how hard the Brexiteers try to block that from us, it's also setting things up so it's hard for us Brits to put the blame on the EU for however Brexit goes has they've given us every chance to deal with it, the EU is playing this smarter then some realise.

@neildoerdan2298 The problem with that is that the UK goverment had the power to prevent much of that but did nothing to slow the tide, they had full control over people coming in from outside the EU, they did nothing on that, they had powers that we could of used to slow down the tide of people coming into the UK from other EU members unless they find a job within 3 months, again the goverment never used that power. The truth is, the real blame lays with our own goverment not the EU, they wanted cheap labour, hence why the law allows for cheap labour to be used, after all, how hard can it be for the goverment to patch up the laws so immagrants get the same pay as natives? Also, the same thing happened in Germany when they opened up the flood gates, low unemployment tends to have that impact. Again, you are putting the blame on the EU for something that some members did like the UK and Germany, remember, the UK was one of the first countries to open up it's boarders to the eastern EU countries even thought France and Germany advised the UK not to do that but the UK didn't listen because the UK wanted cheap labour. Also, I do feel the EU does need to do more on this but the problem is, the power is with EU members not the EU, I think we need a much stronger EU wide policy on immgrations but that will likely mean handing over some powers to the EU, in other words, the real problem isn't the EU but some EU members, the UK being one of them and because of that, it will still be a problem after Brexit because of cheap labour.

It's a given thats what it's going to be used for, we're already seeing early signs of that from both remain and leave camps and expect that to really ramp up over the next few weeks and I suspect thats what May is banking on, if Brits vote in the European elections and say the turnout is high with most votes going to EU parties, that would more or less force the issue on having another public vote back home because there is no way the goverment can say that they are doing the will of the people after that.

The EU or something like the EU was bound to happen with how global and interconnected the world is becoming and expect a lot more of this over the next 100 years, not just from the EU but around the world as well, the world is changing and we need to change with it and ironiclly, the UK and US are trying to go backwords on that which likely wont end well for either of them.

@neildoerdan2298 May was never really in charge of Brexit, the ERG are with the backing of some very powerful people in the media, the real blame with Brexit goes squarely on the hardcore Brexiteers and the red lines, thinking the EU would give us what they wanted, thats where the real blame is and the EU is setting things up to make sure it's very hard for Brits to be able to blame the EU for however Brexit goes.

@skyblazeeterno Thats true but this isn't normal times and I suspect the European elections to play a big role in this, think about this, this is the only chance the British people are going to get with having a say on Brexit because our goverment doesn't want us to have a say. I highly doubt the people that want us to remain in the EU will miss this chance and thats why I expect turnout to be much higher then past years, mainly to send a powerful message to the goverment that we don't want to leave the EU or at the very least, to have another public vote on Brexit. If the turnout is high and a lot of Brits vote for pro EU parties, Brexit could be more or less over with because that would likely force parliement to give the British public another public vote on Brexit. It's all up for play here and it's upto the British public to decide what they want and if we miss this chance then we deserve everything we get with Brexit.

@skyblazeeterno Key word being usually, this isn't normal times and I expect both Remainers and even Brexiteers to vote a lot more this time round then they normally would, I expect turn out to be much higher then it normally is because a lot more is at stake with Brexit looming.
