@scottmcshannon6821 In the short term, they need to fill that void from not buying from Russia, longer term, they should be moving to alternatives like renewable, but for now, they need a lot of energy and quickly, renewables can't replace that quickly enough, coal, the old nuclear plants and other sources can. But in any case, there should be a clear path away from these to other clean energy sources over the long run and I get the impression that Germany is falling behind many other European countries on that.
