What you really need with these readings are 3 things, 1 is the overall renewable energy production by sector, 2 is the production of energy per person and 3, the amount of overall electricity generated in the country by percentage of overall electricity needed. Smaller countries overall are going to need less solar because the population is smaller but many small countries could be generating a high percentage of their energy they need by renewables. I think it would be more useful to see the numbers of energy generated as a percentage by each country and not how much overall energy is being generated because countries with bigger population are going to need a lot more energy but it doesn't tell you on a per-person basis how much energy renewables is generating, it would also be interesting to see the energy mix by sectors, so solar, wind and so on.

I agree, smaller population countries don't need as much energy and it would be more useful to see the energy mix based on a percentage, smaller countries tend to be doing far better then bigger countries overall with maybe the exception being Germany and Japan.
