This tech could get to the point where it's going to get plastered everywhere because of how cheap it can be done.
I'm already hearing about how solar can be used on your drive way, or on the entire house from roof to walls, whiles looking like a normal house and as we know, it could become the same for EV cars where the entire outer surface, including the windows could be solar, that and the advancement of solar and battery tech could make our house a small power station that could provide all our energy needs and for the most part, it could provide a EV car with free energy, as long as you don't use the car a lot, and even then, if the battery capacity is big, it could work well even for long trips.
A lot of smaller things like remote controls, keyboards, mouse, gamepads, headphones and countless other small devices could be powered by solar, that you never or rarely have to charge them up as these devices don't use that much power that it could work well indoors where clearly we don't get direct sunlight.
Longevity is going to be key for perovskite, until that issue is solved, none of what I said above will be achievable, or at least not cheaply enough.
