This was always going to be a problem with the Brexit vote being so close, it doesn't help with all the lies being told from both side but it's also clear that the British people know a lot more about Brexit now then they did two years ago, I think it's only fair that the British people get a final vote once the exit terms are known, at least then we know exactly what we are voting for without any of the bull from either side.

Well Nigal Farage did say if he lost the vote that he would fight for another one, only makes sense to follow his advice and fight for another one even thought they won, let the publc be the real judge on Brexit once we know what the exit terms are but also make sure it's a final vote so no others after it, at least for decades anyway.

The problem is with the leave side here is that they said many things before the Brexit vote and now are saying many diffrent things because they won the vote, many people voted to leave the EU because they thought we could have our cake to eat and cheer pick any deal we want, they also thought we would have single market and custom union access without any open boarders, but now the hardliners are making it seems that all thoes people voted for the hardest of Brexit. Lets find out if thats true by another final vote on Brexit once the exit terms are known, I bet the results are likely diffrent then what they think.

Exactly that Richard, they only want to reform the Lords or scrap it now because it's saying something they don't like, they would be well behind it if they push hard for the hardest of Brexit. In any case, I do think reforms is needed in the Lords but for diffrent reasons then Brexit, it needs to be more electable to help keep the commons in check as well as goverment, it would be another check and balance on the UK govermental system which is alway a good thing to have, the irony is that being in the EU is another check and balanced on us.

I've been advovating reforms of the Lords way before Brexit even happened but in this case, the Lords are right on Brexit, the euroseptics only want to scrap the Lords simply because it's saying something they don't like, they would want to scrap anything that gets in the way of Brexit, thats been clear now for the last two years. As for the Lords, it shouldn't be scraped but should be more democraticlly electable as a second chamber to the commons, it would be another check and balance on demorarcy in the UK just like the EU is on it's members now.

We should remember that the vote was very close, it's kind of hard to say it's the will of the people when many of the public didn't even get a chance to vote and because of all the lies that ware told from both side, it's also hard to say what the real will of the people is now with all the new information we've got over the last two years. Anyway, say what you want about the Lords but they are right about this and what they are really trying to do is force us to rethink things through and not go down the hard Brexit which is really damaging, in the end, they are trying to push us to have another final vote on this by the people, to me that is a good idea considering everything thats happened over the last two years, it's also likely the only option that will sort out this mess one way or another.
