You want to see why the US has so many problems, you only have to look at Fox News to see what it's feeding many Americans to see why there is such a big problem in the country, it reminds me of the Sun and Daily Mail newspaper in the UK on Brexit, they don't report news, they report views of a few key powerful people around the world, Ironically, Murdoch owns two of the 3 media outlets I said above so that should tell you everything you need to know lol. In the US it goes like this, if you are a Republican, you can't do anything wrong but if you're a Democrat, everything you do is wrong, the same in the UK with the Conservative and Labour Party, the right wing media will defend the right wing parties no matter what they do and will keep going after the more left or middle ground parties and for one good reason, right wing parties give the right on the media what they want, more wealth for the rich elites and less for the average with most of the public falling for it. It does beg the question, why don't the Democrats and Labour Party not go after this media? or at the very least enact laws to make them more accountable, the Democrats and Labour Party would likely fare better if they had a more balanced media that reports on facts and not fear and lies.
