As a European, I don't think all Americans are like that, there are many senseable and smart ones but the problem is and this is how many around the world sees it, a lot of Americans voted Trump into power, someone that should not even be close to power and yet a lot of them voted them in, that is why many around the world roll their eyes in the back of their heads at the US and god forbid if Trump wins the election later this year with everything that is going on, that would really be the turning point on America's decline on the world stage because I suspect a lot of policies from world governments will change in how they see the US and that can be really damaging for the US in the long run.

@somecallmeblue That's what makes it messed up as a system with her winning the popular vote but Trump ends up in the White House.

@MoonShadeStuff I 100% agree with you on that one, I'm from the UK and we mostly see the same kind of thing here with the Conservative and Labour Party, a two party system ends up not being much of a democracy because it because a personal battle of sides, left vs right, red vs blue and so on and even thought the UK does have other parties like the Lib Dems, they hardly get a look in and most don't give them a chance because of the way the UK system is set up, it would be a wasted vote, in other words, the system is rigged to protect the two main parties which makes it difficult for new parties to gain power. I prefer the system Germany has got, over there it seems any party could win and we do see many times when grand coalitions are formed with 3 plus parties.

@LuminousSpace Unfortunately, that is high enough of a number to ruin it for the rest, maybe the people that don't vote if they did could turn the tide, I sense that in the UK with Brexit that if it was a mandatory vote, it's unlikely the UK would be leaving the EU now, the problem is, most didn't think it was going to happen whereas the euroseptics wasn't going to miss their chance of voting to get us out, so the numbers end up being messed up and hence why the government wont give another chance because all the polls have said the public would vote to remain in the EU if we had another chance, we like to think we are in a democracy, it's not really, it's a sham.

This is the problem when you have a president that is egging these people on lol, you've got some real problems America that isn't going to go away once this virus goes away and that problem has been brewing for quite some time that if not kept in check, it's going to blow up in your face. I'll give you a hint on where the real problem is, the media and the government, not being able to know what is fact or fake news so rampant paranoia takes off and anything can be considered fake news no matter what evidence is shown and that is a major problem that won't go away unless the system is clean up with a lot more accountability on what's being said, in other words, expect things to get worse, maybe a lot worse before they get better. Also, what happened to freedom of speech and freedom of the press, since Trump got in, he's been trying to suppress that which should be a worry to you all and people should ask question on why he wants to do that.
