The problem in the US is a few fold, one is poor safety net which puts a lot more pressure on the people to get back to work, two is the rampant paranoia in the US from government to people with the lack of trust and three, this obsession of freedom and liberty that overrules common sense at all times, throw in all the mix signals being sent out by the government and media and you have a disaster waiting to happen.
Contrast that with Europe and things for the most part are quite calm, in fact a poll was just done a day or two ago in the UK that most of the public say it's not the right time to open up the lock down yet, that will likely put a lot of pressure on the government to keep the lock down going, at least for the next few weeks because the UK is behind the curve compared to a lot of other European countries, the US on the other hand is even worse than what we are seeing in the UK and looking at the infection rates and death rates, now isn't the right time to even thinking about opening up but I suspect pressure will build for the US to open up and with that, far more lives could be lost that didn't have to be, at the end of the day, all these protestors are doing is killing more people and making it worse for the economy because it makes it harder to open up if they don't listen.
You've got some major problems in the US that could really get out of hand if you're not careful.
