Come on guys, there's been a long list of where Hungary have been braking EU rules that Hungary agreed to when signing up to the EU. According to some of you people, it's fine for Hungary to break the rules as it's been doing for years with back sliding, do you also support that idea with other countries doing the same like Scotland braking UK rules? Or how about US states braking US rules. If you don't like the rules, you know where the door is, but getting mad because they can't do what they want, well that's just stupid.

So let me get this right, Imagine Scotland were to break many of the UK rules, would you be alright with that? You are after all suggesting that members can do what they want, wouldn't that be fine if Scotland or Wales were to do the same? Hungary knew full well of the rules it were signing up to when joining the EU, if they don't like that, they know where the door is, but braking the rules when signing up to them in good faith is asking for trouble, and honestly, the EU should have got tough on Hungary years ago.

@vulpo This isn't about Hungary and Russia, not directly anyway, it's about Hungary constantly breaking EU rules that it's agreed to when joining the EU, all the Hungary-Russia thing is doing is exposing Hungary for who they are.

@aikighost Actually that's not true, the treaty was changed enough that if I recall, Ireland had another vote and voted it through on those changes made, which is basically democracy at work.

Normally I wouldn't agree with stripping a country of it's power but the reality is, Hungary signed up to join the EU, knowing it's rules, which it's braking many of them. Anyone saying the EU doesn't have the right to do this, don't understand what signing up and agreeing to rule means, and honestly, the EU should have been doing this years ago with how Hungary have been going.

What, by being a puppet of Putin? I hardly call that putting the interest of is countries first lol.

Could the deal have been better? Yes, but you Brexiteers were hell-bent on getting the worst deal you could get in the name of being a hard Brexit, and honestly, the deal could have been worse if the Brexiteers really got their way.
