The pandemic, as damaging as that was, it's very short term and limited, Brexit on the other hand is long term damage and there are no easy ways to fix that. It's quite alarming how some of the media and both the Conservative and Labour Party don't pipe up about that, both parties are playing right into the hands of the independence movements in both Scotland and Northern Ireland because they are simply not listening to what a lot of the real cause is and that is Brexit. Hence why I didn't expect much change with Sunak being in power, I don't expect much change from Labour being in power until they are willing to open up and admit Brexit is the problem and start changing course accordingly. In any case, don't expect things to get better for another decade or at the earliest, at the next election, but considering that Labour are going with the slogan of making Brexit work, things don't bold well for the UK regardless of which party is in power.

It's what they call strong and stable, but let's be honest, I don't blame the Tories, they are just a reflection of the people, the British people have had many chances to push these out of power and yet they keep voting them back in, that's where the real problem is, the people, so don't expect change and for things to get better until the people change.
