@X3R013 It will take years but it won't be forgotten that easy with everything going on in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Brexit is likely going to be reported on for at least another 5 or 10 years and as sector after sector keeps getting hit hard thanks to Brexit, it's likely going to stay fresh in peoples minds.
What I think will happen, the real threat of the UK falling apart could end up pushing the UK back in the EU or at the least single market and custom union just to protect the UK union, this won't happen whiles this government is in power, they are too hostile, too arrogance and have burnt too many bridges already, the healing process can only happen once a new government is in power so we're at least 4 or 5 years away from that which by then it could be too late for the UK union.
In the end, Brexit was ideology, the government and the Brexiteers don't care about Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales, they are quite happy to throw them all under the bus to push their Brexit agenda, many are starting to realize that now.
The real irony is, so far Brexit seems to be hitting the sectors that voted for Brexit the most the hardest, got to love that.
