@schlussmitschiss He got it all wrong last year on his forecasting on what would happen in Europe on the energy issue, looks like he's repeating it, which is ironic, because Europe is in a better position this year then it was last year, if the worse was going to happen, it likely would have happened last year when there was little time to adapt to it.
The reality is, gas storage is quite high, energy prices are coming down and for the moment at least, the weather is mild, where for me in the UK, the weather is warmer than it was last year for this time of year.
Also, I've not heard of any panic in the UK or around Europe of energy rationing, after all, if there were energy shortage issues, it would be all over the news by now and yet hardly anyone is talking about it compared to last year where there was a lot of talk on it and yet we were fine.
Like you said, either he didn't do his research or it's clickbait.

The same thing was said last year and yet they were fine, in fact, more than fine with how well gas storage lasted.
This year, they are in a better position, so I doubt there's any major problems on energy.
But seriously, if Europe were going to have any major problems when it comes to energy, it was going to be last year and also, I'm not hearing any reports of energy supple issues around Europe.
He should do a bit more research on this because is forecast is well off the mark and it seems most in the comment sector agrees.
As for the UK where I live, this winter is warmer then last winter so far, energy prices are lower, but not by much but that's more to do with our government not intervening to lower prices and letting the market correct it's self, whereas many EU countries, governments have intervened.
