I have to wonder from a European perspective now that Canada have a free trade deal with the EU if Canada should try and do at lot more trade with the EU at the expense of the US because Canada is too close to the US which puts them at risk of having to do what the US wants, balancing trade around the world is always a good thing and limits the damage the likes of the US can do when they become unpridictable and unrealibe like they are not. In any case, I think Canada and many other countries around Europe and the world really need to rethink things with how it goes about handerling the US because they are not as friendly as some want them to be and should be treated as such, in any case, Trump is a wake up call for the rest of the world to change things and sadly, thoes changese are likely going to weaken the US but in the end, they brought it all on themselfs.
