@caperider1160 No, I'm just one that likes to have critical thinking and doesn't automatically follow the government line like a sheep because they want me too, I look at how things are and what we can do to deal with it.
Even with a cover up, why did a lot of other countries respond to this so slow? We've known about this virus since January and yet look how slow the likes of the US and US are reacting to this, at first they made it seem like a joke in that it would blow over and then they started to put the economy first at the expense of the people.
Some tough questions are going to get asked on a lot of governments once the dust settings and it doesn't look good for many of them.
So what I'm saying is that China should have been more open on this but Trump would go out of his way to try and punish them if China was more open so I can understand why they wanted to keep it a secret, but even then, if China was open, would a lot of governments listen? look how slow they are to react to it, it suggests China being open on it wouldn't change anything, hence the tough questions on our own governments once the dust settles, beside, all Trumps is doing is deflecting blame away from him self because he knows he's in deep with this and the buck stands with him in the US, he's trying to deflect blame on China because this looks bad on him.

@caperider1160 Some are desperate to blame China because they want an easy scapegoat, Trump is doing just that but that's not going to end well.
Beside, I'm not saying the Chinese government doesn't need to change, after the dust settles on this virus, China will have to change in many areas like on food standards and how they treat animals, the pressure on them from the rest of the world will be immense on those things.
Also, when you say China is a big threat to the world order, what you likely mean is America world order and you are right, China is a big threat to the US, if you look at what China is doing, they are making many friends at the moment in Europe and around the world with helping on the coronavirus at a time when the US is pulling back, the longer this virus goes on, the bigger the geographical and political shift that can happen in the world and so far China is playing the smart game on that whereas the US is coming across as a selfish nation thanks to Trump.
One thing I do know, if this virus last till the end of the summer or year, it's not going to be business as usual after that, a lot of changes are coming, maybe in the same kind of way we saw after the second world war, people don't seem to understand how massive of a change this is going to be for the human race once the dust settles.

@justchill7995 Yep, we saw the same pattern in the UK, the warning signs was all around but governments didn't listen to they responded to it too slow and that to me tells me that even if China was more open, would other governments have reacted quicker? I doubt it somehow and that is the real problem here, a lack of trust on both sides so the share of blame is on both sides for different reasons.
Personally, I put the blame mostly on the US and China, by creating a hostile environment, China felt it had to protect itself in being more secret on this because they likely knew that Trump would jump on this with the aim of harming China, after all Trump has a lot of form on that, so yes, it's easy to blame China but there is lots of blame to go around on this one, Trump being one of them and the slow reaction to this virus from many governments being another.

@MrCTruck That's true and it's clear to see that they've been trying to paper over the cracks to keep the economy going but now with this coronavirus going on, they've gone into overdrive but it's clearly not effective because they are using the same tools they would use under normals times, these are not normals times, a lot of people are not working or buying goods so it's kinda freezing economic activity, all they can really do is limit the damage because it's very likely a recession is on it's way, maybe even a depression.
Either way, I don't see that we have much options as we have to contain this virus before it gets really bad, also, some people saying it's just a few thousand people, that's being very reckless, look how quick the virus has spread, look at the numbers of deaths in Italy just a week or two ago, those numbers are rising at an alarming rate and if we see the same thing in other countries and the numbers don't calm down, the death toll from this could end up in the millions if not more if we don't contain it quickly.
