It's highly unlikely any modern country will run out of food, the real problem we are seeing is panic buying where people are buying a lot more than they usually do and that is causing problems, then throw in that a lot more people are doing online delivery, it's easy to see where the problem is. As things calm down and people start realizing they have too much food at home, supermarkets start to have a lot more food as we are seeing in many European countries. The real problem isn't the lack of food because there is more than enough, the problem is getting that food to people when in self-isolating and more so for people that don't want or can't go out because of the virus and that is overloading the delivery system. So don't worry, the last thing any country will do is let the food supplies run down because that would do far more damage than the virus can do but people will panic buy but over a few weeks or month or so, that calms down as well.
