The American health care system reminds me of vultures, they get you when you are most vulnerable and know that you'll likely pay whatever is needed to fix what's needed to be fixed. Business should never be mixed with health care because they only care about profit, health care should be under the control of governments like it is in pretty much every other developed country around the world. I find it remarkable that Americans still put up with a system that treats Americans as a cash cow. It also makes me wonder as well that in the US because health care is run as a business, if there might be some under hand tactics in other areas going on like food standards and other safty areas and health issues, because the system seems designed around wanting to bring most custom in so they can make more of a profit whereas if you look at European countries, the incentive is the other way round where they want to reduce the burden on the health care system so less people go in which gives them a bigger incentive to look after the people much better, it makes me wonder if this plays out with other areas like food and so on.
