The real problem I'm seeing with the US is that over the last 20 years, the US is becoming less predictable, less reliable and hard to truths, Trump is just one leader but then, Americans picked George W Bush as well, it will be hard for the US to have leadership role if the American people keep picking these kind of leaders and I think Trump was the last straw, we are already seeing the likes of the EU and China shifting away from the US and this could only be the beginning.
As for Germany, what can you say, they are dependable, reliable, they seem far more stable then the likes of the UK and US and more consistent, a lot of countries in the west can be quite erratic at times. France should be interesting to watch with Macron winning a landslide but it's early days for them and only time will tell if they do the real reforms needed in France.
As for Trump, all he's really doing is shifting power from the west to the east quicker, it was already happening before Trump but now it's accelerated and worse yet, he's dividing the west when we can't really afford that with how quickly Asia is developing, in a decade or two, I suspect we are going to look at Trump and Brexit and think, what a disaster and what were they thinking at the time, Putin must be laughing his head off with how the west is weakening itself.
