  1. Chile did not want more government and bureaucracy in their lives. They know more taxes and regulations would stifle their everyday living.

  2. Allende socialist party was a minority. Salvador did not follow any of his promises to the Chile citizens. He wanted to be a dictator just like his good friend Fidel Castro. Allende committed suicide doing the Coup d'etat when the military took control. Allende shot himself with the AK 47 Castro gave him as a gift. The military eventually returned democracy to Chile 🇨🇱.
