  1. Iran took over the American Embassy and held Americans hostage. This was an act of war but the cowardly Jimmy Carter did nothing. The six billion dollars should have been paid to the hostages that Iran kept hostage. The Cowardly Carter paid Iran to release the hostages right before Reagan was sworn in as President.
