With all tipping points alone, we should see continuing warming after the inevitable collapse of our society. All tipping points will release 10 times more co2 than what we already released. By 2150, we will reach Permian extinction warming at 8 degrees. By 2500, the oceans will start to boil off liberating even more co2 ultimately killing whatever life remains on our planet.

  24.  @lousassole6969  The US reached domestic peak oil in the 1970s, and production only continued with developments in fracking technology which began in the late 2000s. The Great Recession commodity bubble triggered enough capital for the production of oil at large scale. But, now fracking companies are no longer staying profitable because of demand destruction. Again, your country is finished. Should have diversified when you had the opportunity back in the 1970s.

And growing crops and converting them to oil has a very low EROEI because growing crops requires large amounts of energy from labor and machinery doing work. Those machines need fuel to work. So you're not getting any gain from biofuels.

The oceans acidified killing most marine life. The earth warmed up to 8 degrees Celcius during the Permian extinction. We will reach 8 degrees likely by 2150.
