  8.  @ronstanleyhunt1135  China owns most of the worlds rare earths. The earths geologic deposits are mostly found in China and are more cost effective to mine there. America is collapsing. Tariffs on China means more supply shortages and economic disaster for the US. In other words, buy America is code for suicide. The only way to avoid collapse is ww3, or accept defeat to become a puppet state for China.
