I think we need Social democracy. Socialism is still not possible yet. Once a technology singularity or universal automation happens, socialism will be demanded.

@auntiebobbolink you don't have to choose between UBI or disability. The UBI should be on top of your ssi in my opinion because retirees earned more than 1000 a month since they worked

@auntiebobbolink there are retirees who get 1200 dollars a month, so it wouldn't make sense to slash it to 1000 dollars

@auntiebobbolink I agree with you. The disabled are always looked down upon. If the government really hated disabled people, they should sterilize us if they're afraid of us breeding. Also, you can't totally get rid of disabled people. Autism and Down syndrome isn't hereditary and they are born. It's not like the parents decided to have autistic kids. There should be major changes in the way society operates. We need more spending on disabled people and better assistance and I wouldn't mind being sterilized. I can still have sex, just not procreate.
