  1. Continent size kelp farms in all oceans. Yes, some kelp will die and release co2, but the number of co2 will be dramatically sequestered because the total population of kelp will have increased. And the kelp will constantly reproduce.

  2. Nobody is saying continue with business as usual. I guarantee extinction can be avoided if all of us put our efforts into this. We can grow continent size kelp farms in every ocean. Paint all roofs white to increase albedo. But yeah, if we do nothing, all hope is lost.
