  2. I think it's too many people consuming too much stuff. Capitalism is just an economic system. Communism can also be bad for the environment. Giving people free stuff is pretty bad for the environment. The problem is endless growth model

  3. Higher temps have caused previous extinction events. During the Permian extinction, temps rose to 8 degrees in just 20,000 years. So if we go up to 8 degrees, we are likely screwed.
