@katiekay3873 ur so right. Too many fakeness online that can't be coppy cat in real world. U see this during a country elections, crazy dudes spewing hate in social media etc - but then the country elects another general centrist without much change to the country or the people. So many times I caught people pretending to be west african, palestinians, americans - but they aren't, just pretending. This is a form of manipulation of the masses by governm or economic interest groups - it fits to a tee the stuff the nazis did to get to power but more with spread due to internet.

As someone with a translation studies degree: the dude was very wrong, accent or no accent, with or without curse, english as the lengua franca is accepted as proficient as soon as u go beyond airport english (basic level). Plus the language, any language, is of the speakers and content creators who use it and does not belong to grammar or spelling nazis. As for u roman, ur level is more than enough and both u and marina are proficient level which means u can make ur message understood. In conclusion, none of us is a Shakespeare!

@MrEd8846 that isn't propaganda, that's societal pressure. It's like the vast amounts of people who presure women into motherhood. Propaganda is a political narrative sponsored by an oficial government institution and includes censorship to criticism of said narrative. Societal pressure is used by propagandists but it isn't propaganda.

@MrEd8846 the o'reilley incident can't be considered propaganda, it's media performance (he is a media guy) and has party afiliation - american media just like arab media is a circus act 😂. But u can't call it propaganda as it isn't government/ regime sponsered. There was no cia or fbi making sure billy guy wouldn't be hurt for example. It is also disgusting but can't be called propaganda. Blundering concepts is one of rhe best way to confuse a people to the point that they unconcionsly end up allowing someone else to tell them what is a table, or the sky is always pink (making up diplomatic stuff). That's a form of deception and a doorway of indoctrination. Propaganda is always state/ regime sponsored, until then its only political party marketing (albeit said marketing can be very unethical, imoral or indoctrinating).

I would say to go to a store and buy jewels and stuff like that, than travel with them then exchange to new currency in new country. U might loose a portion but gold and silver are still sellable in most countries.

UK policy makers also did a poop by not ensuring the energy sector wouldn't use international market to screw up uk market prices and get profit from it. In capitalism, governments are suppose to ensure competition and stop monopoly and monopoly like practices, both uk and us are failing at that while discussing stupidities such as pronouns.

@chance2716 it's so weird. Next to my house there is a health center, there is a russian doctor (she could easily be a doctor in russia, it's a profession u always get a carrier), she is putinist! What the hell is she doing living in our little unimportant portugal? It isn't the salary (cause our doctors are not that well paid), it's the free safe sistem. If putins russia is so great why couldn't it provide an opurtunity for this doctor? Why did she migrate across to the other side of europe for a carrier than? And why is she so stupid to be pro putin around us? She is making her life insecure by shouting pro putin stuff cause... U know.. If she finds the wrong paciente like an ukranian migrant... So stupid it seems a bad comedy movie!

@thedamntrain u gave to many diferent examples. Most countries from a certain size (bigger) are yes a product of said glue (whose traces from a certain point on start to fade). Some countries are just nations (by force or not) banded together. Some are a product of an inicial city-state or nation-state. Usa is a product of an expansionist force in which some states were glued by force and some added voluntarily or bought but all that fades away from the fast track of interconnection. Now russia is something else all together and it's probably more to do with the huge diferences from one border to the other than because of its size. Add size to the vast diferences of border and u need to keep it glued by force at all times - neighbours tend not to be best friends. Usa is dificult to place in the group of country I see it more like a multi-culrural business territory or something of sorts. Some countries are so old that are a product of nation building in diferent times and diferent regions (ukraine fits this perfectly). What is a country but a political construct accepted by outsiders?

This is so weird, we don't do any of that since the revolution, that stuff is old regime. We have the anthem, flag and all that circus in oficial events of the state. In school we just have classes and the anthem is played in context to a history lesson or something. We are actually a pretty patriotic country but its just cultural, nothing to do with school but relared to society and cultural events as we have 1000 different local parties (not called that way but no translation either) and patriotism is spread thru football, eating, drinking and dancing. So so weird in my prespective.
