Why? Africa has countries who make it self relient in oil deposits and has even extra. Why rely on another far away country when u can produce yourself?

U do understand that russia doesn't want to? Russia model is of monopoly and USA business model of "free market" is seen as an obstruction to said goal.

@USMLEBOOSTER Africa isn't 1: different countries with different climas and different kind of production. This is about a fuel crisis and a grain crisis which is internationally linked and this whole mess just made it worst (it was already bad - fuel economic warfare).

@USMLEBOOSTER that's after the economic development and fast wealth and not before. Also, china imports a lot of food, their agriculture programe is a façade (complex issue that can't be explain in a yt coment section). The saudis are now rethinking their whole grow in the desert (they never stoped importing grain, nor ever produced it), because of watter deposits depletion and it seems it the business doesn't have much future. It's not that simple .

So do other countries (not nations, you really should know the difference). And fyi, the last energy crisis was russia vs saudi economic warfare. And all energy crisis relate to food crisis as the two economies are dependant. U really should learn economics.
