Hez happens to support both assad and hamas, but that doesn't mean hamas supports assad, it just works with whomever was willing to smugle weapons/ people into gaza. For example, fatah and baath are ideologically aligned, and these so happen to suppress anything musl brot related whenever they can, ergo hamas, and hamas did murder fatah guys when it came to power in gaza. Ur oversimplifying middle east as if it was just 2 sides, which cannot be further from reality on the ground. Hence why there's always so many factions when there's a civil war.
