With ukraine being found to be a competitor in the gas biz, his legacy would be changed into the guy who allowed russian economy dependant upon gas exports (whose main client is europe). With or without war his legacy got screw up the moment geological survey report humoungous shallow gas deposits in ukraine. Nothing to do with empires but about gas biz and european market cause money talks.

  23.  @MilanTheMan69  ukraine has a huge untaped gas deposit that alone could fuel the whole of EU for 20 years. It's a recent geological survey and that was the main trigger for all this bulshit. So, yes, ukraine has gas and a lot of it.
