In an economy where there is lots of people competing for the same jobs the salary of said jobs tend to be low. As for new business ya they are a bit screwed.

@dexorne9753 it actually isn't. It has a crumble effect on the economy and job market that is toxic. Also, those kinds of ideas are propagated and financed by big corporations who love a good crisis to amass all the properties and monopolies housing market becoming a strong lobby and therefore greed for power effect. Sometimes people due to financial illiteracy don't know that they are spreading pure propaganda.

@dexorne9753 it's more like price goes down and people can't afford a home either way as jobs are lost as well. My country suffered hugely in 2008 housing crisis and prices were ridiculous low but the ownership went to the same old, in the end there was less regular first time owner. It goes like this: the price is lower but the interest and the conditions of credit are way harsher. I know, I got rich because I took advantage of the housing crisis, but I'm 3rd generation real state investor. Conclusion, ur being illiterate, a bubble burst will only work for u if u have almost the full value of the property in cash!
