@zihanzheng7569 ur german, whoever tells u otherwise is ignorant of what constitutes a nationality or cultural identity. Genes have no say in that, genes only shapes hair, skin tone, heigh etc. Nationality of a country is about belonging to the political construct. Cultural identity is about what u said about exposure. From a cultural studies person. Also, don't feel the insult they are just ignorantly racists, they have no idea that germany isn't an ethno-state, it has been mixing and reshaping since the romans at least. 👍

I was with u up until the moment u said "invented capitalism". Europe didn't invent capitalism, it refined the trading sistem and the dutch invented corporativism, the cheque etc. Capitalism exist previously as trade was happening all over the world since times immemorial. The rail way lines path were not chosen by the ruropeans, they were the paths used previously for trade. Besides being too emotional invested (maybe some guilt with the we when u weren't born) u also introduce politics in the mix. I thought this was suppose to be about history not about selling the idea of europeans as inventors of capitalism 😂 which is ridiculous.
